Need specialized software for a particular class? We are happy to help out. Please check below for your specific campus, and we will arrange for the installation of software into the classroom in a timely manner. Software and licensing information are required.

To make a special software request for a classroom in Arlington Original Building,
please contact Demetrius Winston, Manager, Arlington Desktop Support
at (703) 993-4959 or at his e-mail, dwinston@gmu.edu,
a minimum of 10 DAYS in advance of your class
or event. In Hazel Hall, the software requests go to Law School Computing/Jose Coradin. His phone is (703) 993-4855 and his email is jcoradin@gmu.edu. Before making your request, please review the standard

Fairfax
Special software requests should be made when full semester as well
as ad-hoc classroom requests are submitted. Special software requests can also
be made during the semester. Before making your request, please review the Standard
Software Load for the Fairfax Campus in the classrooms or the standard software on the checkout
laptops. To submit a special software installation request, please
use the on-line
special software request form. After completing the on-line form, please
print a copy for your records and drop off the media and licensing information
in Robinson A Room 104.

Synchroneyes: Classroom Technologies offers
Synchroneyes classroom management software to give the instructors
the power to guide learning and help manage the classroom. We
collaborate with the Instructional Resource Center to offer training
that can be scheduled with the Learning Technologies Analyst, (703) 993-3424.
File/Document Space: Classroom Technologies
manages the computers in the electronic and computer classrooms,
as well as the computer labs. To maintain the systems functioning
optimally, the management software instantly restores the PC to
its pristine state upon every reboot. To avoid loss of work
we provide a file space where anyone can save to without the work
being deleted.
Cable Access Requests: Classroom Technologies
collaborates with the Network Engineering Group to offer cable
access in the electronic or computer classrooms. This service
may be requested by the instructor and is charged to the department.
Prince William
